    CIFF Blog
6:00 pm: Today I did something out of the norm for a Friday (although I'm stilling hanging out with Patrick, so it's not THAT out of the norm) and went to the CIFF (for those of you not in the know, that stands for Cleveland International Film Festival). I'm taking a class (Contemporary Film) at Cleveland State University, and as part of our curriculum, we were asked to take part in one aspect of the Festival, and guess what I chose? Blogging, did you say? Correct! So after the lovely drive in Cleveland traffic (if you've never been... it's a lot of fun... that mayor may not be sarcasm), missing the parking garage and having to drive around the block a second time, and then playing a lovely game of "Locate That Parking Spot," Patrick and I have finally arrived at the Festival. We've met with Lara, the very friendly head of the Media section of the CIFF (which is being held at Tower City in Cleveland, OH). We are now currently uploading previously recorded videos to the CIFF Youtube channel. Whoops, scratch that, our video just finished uploading! YAY! It's been, what, one hour... and we've already uploaded one video... things are going well. We are about to head out into the craziness of the Friday film fest... I shall keep you posted on our many adventures. Enjoy!

10:00 pm: Patrick and I just got back from the CIFF, and let me tell you, it was great! After uploading one of the many videos we'd received, we headed down to the Fest, and the crowd was insane, though a lot of them were passing through for the Cavs game. Pat and I wanted to see "Dean Spanley," but it was on the Stand-By list, so we stood at the very end of the line and waited for everyone else to get in. Although the crowds were crazy, the staff at the Fest seemed to have everything well taken care of, and things went smoothly. After everyone who'd bought a stand-by ticket had made it in, Patrick and I headed into the theater and were lucky enough to find two seats near each other (he sat behind me). Unfortunatly, my seat was in the very front and to the very left of the theater, so I was watching the film at an extreme angle. However, after a few minutes, it didn't matter anymore; the film was amazing!

"Dean Spanley" is about Horatio Fisk (Peter O'Toole), an ailing, seemingly closed-minded man who is very set in his ways; every Thursday, he has his housekeeper prepare the same meal and has his son, Henslowe Fisk (Jeremy Northam), visit with him. One Thursday, father and son attend a lecture on the Transmigration of Souls; it is here that they meet Dean Spanley (Sam Neill). After several encounters with the strange man, young Fisk decides to talk further with the Dean. After two glasses of the rare Imperial Tokay wine, Dean Spanley begins to tell of his previous life as a dog. Also starring Bryan Brown and Art Malik, "Dean Spanley" was a humorous and touching film with a beautiful ending. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It's one of those films that has you leaving the theater with a smile on your face and the feeling of having experienced something wonderful. For more information and a trailer for the film, you can go to www.deanspanleymovie.com

After the film let out (the theater was packed), Patrick and I debated on staying to see "Bitter and Twisted," but decided that it was late and we had a long drive home. I would have liked to stay longer or come on another day; there were SO many films that I wanted to see! I think when the CIFF comes next year, I will definitely be buying tickets. I had a great experience; I'm so glad I had the opportunity to go this year, and I encourage everyone to check out the film festival and support the arts!

    Not Much To Say...
It's been crazy. I've been updating MySpace more than LJ, but now MySpace isn't working, so I came here to update, but Mom's waiting outside, so I don't have much time, plus I have to return Patrick's book to him!!! *sigh*

First off, HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY ELIJAH!!! It was on the 28th, but whatever. I rented "Ringers: Lord of the Fans" on that day, and it was pretty interesting. And pretty funny! lol! Some people.

Terry and I had a little bit of a talk today. Twas a good thing. Sometimes I really want to get back together with him, but I just can't let myself do that. Not yet. I need more time. I need to mature, and so does he. And he still hasn't completely told me the truth about the whole Myspace incident. Doesn't like to bring it up; was a bad day. Yeah, well, it was a bad experience for me too. But I'm not dwelling on it any more. It was just an incident that hurt me and that he won't even talk to me about. If he'd just tell me something about it, I wouldn't have been pissed, and I wouldn't keep bringing it up. But once again, I'm not dwelling. lol.

As for OOMA (Tog knows what I mean), well, I honestly couldn't care less anymore. I thought we were friends, but apparantly, we're not. I mean, when someone stops calling you and never emails you back, it's probably best to assume that they no longer want to spend any real time with you. Whatever! Their loss, not mine. And I'm still gonna be civil.

Classes are going okay. Work's going okay. Life's going crappy. Spent all last night crying over different things. But it's probably hormones. Not to mention, I tend to do that every so often anyway, so... yeah.

And Tog, my heart goes out to you. Really, it does. I know how you're feeling. Maybe not exactly, but I understand how hard this must be. I'll be praying for you! I heart you girl!!

Yeah, well, that's about it! Hope everyone is doing well. Talk to you later!! Bye!!

I'm surprised by some words, totally NOT surprised by others, and surprised yet still that some words are't on there. But some ppl should feel special, if they look closely. *cough*Mom*cough*Terry*cough*

So yeah, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" was fun!! The group was fun, I got there on time, the movie was long but great, and I just had a really great time. I could post more about it, but OH, the scandal if I did. *winks at Tog* But yeah, had a great time, and the jailbaits on the screen were pretty good too. :P Then we went to Eat 'n Park, where we got horribly sick to our stomachs, and went back to Erica's to play Mario Party 7 on GameCube. I, Princess Peach, came in 2nd place!! Boo ya!! Then we finally retired to bed at around 5 AM.

BTW, can't wait to quit Purgatory!! Soooo excited to do so, yet nervous to become an Oven Mitt. But I'm sure it's all for the best. A lot of new experiences are slowly opening up to me. This could be the start of a brand new "life" for me! :)

And, well, that's pretty much it. I have to go now. Mom's waiting in the car, and I'm sure those librarians are getting very close to kicking me off of this computer. Perhaps I shall leave you with a pic. *opens up Photo Bucket* Hmm... let's see... I shall leave you with something lovely Terry made for me. I think it's freakin' hilarious!!

Sadness and depression is what lies behind your
eyes... Or even so, you can't even tell what
lies behind your eyes because they're
constantly covered up with tears! You've been
hurt, abused, and damned far too much for you
to handle it all anymore! No one understands
you because theyre too scared to get to
know you! You want to finally give up; just
escape and rid of all your pain. You want
people to understand, you want comfort... You
tend to bottle up all of your emotions and
problems, hoping that theyll all go away But
you long to reach out and tell that one special
person all of your feelings and troubles! But
you never seem to have that person to talk to,
or they just dont want to hear you! You want a
    normal and happy life. Though
that picture is porcelain in your mind; it's
not as great as it seems, and most importantly,
it's not real! You always feel this
    sense of loneliness clouding over your head;
isolated though surrounded by several people.
None of them know you; none of them see what's
wrong with you. You want understanding, you
want that friend, and you want that perfect
life! You often find isolated places as being
your salvation; any place away from 'them' is
ideal to you. You also love to express yourself
in many ways; whether it be through your
emotions, words, art, or even physically. You
think no one can relate to you, but you don't
    know how wrong you are! You're just too scared;
too scared to admit that maybe you're wrong
about society... You want company, but at the
same time, you're scared of it. Your sanctuary
is your room where you can just be alone and
try to throw away all of your aching pains.
You're dark and mysterious and people like you
for that reason. Even if you think you're all
by yourself in the dark, someone is always
there with you. Your special someone wants to
admit and show their feelings towards you, but
they're afraid of how you'll take it. Maybe it
isn't as bad as you portray it to be! Life
brings smiles, tears, laughter and memories...
The smiles fade, the tears dry, and the
laughter eventually dies down... But the
memories... Those last forever! So try to make
them memories you can cherish... You only live
once, so make it the best as possible :) Don't
start frowning! You never know who's falling in
    love with your smile :)

    Riiiiiiiight...
It's been FOREVER since I've written! Really need to get the internet at home! lol! I can't remember complete details, so I'll just pretty much sum up what's gone on, in whatever order it comes to me (be afraid, be VERY afraid!).

Um... saw "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" the day it opened with my niece and nephew and mom. That was fun! They spent the night before and came to work with me the day of the movie, then we went home and got all dressed up. Movie was pretty great too! My fav. line? "Everything in this room is edible. Even I'm edible. But that is called cannibalism, and is in fact frowned upon in many societies." And of course: "You're really weird"! lol!

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE "THE CORPSE BRIDE" ON SEPTEMBER 23!!!!

Went on a roadtrip with my gal pals Erica and Stephanie. We went to Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, and it was pretty fun. We were such tourists, screaming at the waves as they came towards us! lol! I've never screamed so much on vacay though! Every other moment we were screaming (in fear, usually) at something. It was great! We beached, we went to a comedy club (and tried to get hypnotized... didn't work), we ate (at Sonic, FINALLY!!), we bought stuff, we went bowling (BEST part of the trip), we went miniture golfing, we got bit up, we used an outdoor shower, we watched movies, we video taped stuff, we traveled out to an island and got the car stuck in the sand at the beach, we jet skied (OTHER BEST part of the trip)... All in all, it was pretty dang fun!

The day after we came back from N.C., we went to this Croatian (I probably spelled that wrong, and Erica's gonna smack me) festival to celebrate the assention of Mary (Yes Terry, the assention, not the assumption, I got it right this time). That was interesting... and pretty fun. The food was good, but Erica was busy searching for her crush Slovko, and Steph was busy checking out all the hot guys, and checking out hot guys get semi-boring after a while, ya know? NEway...

Terry came to pick me up on the Monday after I got back. We went to his house about 6pm and hung out (watched a movie, talked, kissed...) and I spent the night. Nothing sexual, just slept over so we could hang out the next day too. Which we did. That day was mostly spent waiting to go to the Mill Creek Mall in PA, which has an AWESOME Hot Topic!!! My God, I was amazed! They had all this Johnny Depp stuff, and I FINALLY got my Invader Zim T-shirt!! FINALLY!! It says, "Why am I so amazing??" on it! Isn't that adorable??

So yeah, spent a day and a half with Terry, that was fun. Sunset was GORGEOUS (even though Terry didn't sit and watch it with me like we'd planned... *sigh*). J/K Terry. But yeah, I had a great time (even when I spent an hour crying... sorry 'bout that Ter), and hope to head out that way again soon!

Waaaaaay before all this stuff, I went to see "Peter Pan" twice. The first time was AWESOME in a certain way. *winks at Tog, who knows what I mean* The second time, the play was better, but otherwise the day was blah, and I've completely given up that direction. I don't care now, I've given that direction up.

Oh, Terry and I have founded Triple A, or AAA for those who like to type out the "A's." It stands for "Advocates Against Anal." We have a theme song too. It goes *sings* "We're not gonna take it. No, we're not gonna take it! We're not gonna take it... up the buuuuuutt!" ROFL! I luv it!

We had a garage sale. Didn't go too well. I met this really cool freshman girl in HS, who's gonna start working at Wendy's. She came to the sale and we started talking about how obsessed she is with "The Nightmare Before Christmas," which I was obsessed with too. And her little sister (the pretty, pretty princess) was adorable, so that's cool. Maybe I'll actually be able to have one more person at work that I'd LIKE working with. lol!

Oh, and at the sale, this guy came up. He was buying items one at a time. The first time he came up to pay for something, I noticed his fly was undone, but I felt uncomfortable about mentioning it, and figured he was leaving anyway. Well, then he went back and picked out something else. The next time he came back, I figured out he was going commando. *gags* The gap of the fly was so large, I could see EVERYTHING!! *barfs* I didn't know where to look, so I'd concentrate on something else while I gave him his change. He must have come back up about 5 or 6 times!! *gags again* And there was a little girl there!! I don't think she saw anything though. Terry showed up right as the guy was leaving. I SO would have liked to have seen what would have happened had he been there when this guy was there. *giggles* Mom was disappointed I didn't wake her up for the peep show, but I just keep wondering if I was being sexually harassed.

So yeah, that's pretty much it. I'm still trying to sign up for classes, even though they start this coming Monday. *sigh* I hate doing things at the last minute. Hope all is well with everyone else!!

Much love and more to come!! ~Marge~

PS- Just found out Patrick (who's Ren Faire I did't get to visit, and I'm very upset about it) is in love! And he's sooo happy about it. Aww, Pat, I wish you and this girl the very best!! CONGRATS!!

*Checks To See If Vader Is Behind Her*
LOL! I finally watched all three of the original Star Wars movies the other night! But then last night, I walked over to Erica's house, and I could have sworn I heard Darth Vader breathing behind me! LOL! No more Star Wars for me! *wink*

Not much to say. Um... last time I hung out with Terry was at his family get together on the third of July. That was fun. We went to the park and I got to meet his sisters (they were both VERY nice) and other family members. Then we went back to Conneaut to drop off his dad, and finally made it home. And other stuff...

We've also decided that the relationship was moving too much in the physical direction, which is NOT what either of us wants, so we talked about making sure that we steer it outta that direction.

And Terry started his new job today! YAY! He's working at a spring factory *giggles* from 6:30 AM until 3:30 PM! I know, aren't those horrible hours?? So he'll only have about 4 or 5 hours a day in which to do everything he wants to do, then it's off to bed and off to work. But he only works four days a week, so that's cool.

In other news, I FINALLY get to see my niece and nephew!! A.J.'s coming out tomorrow while my sister does... something, I'm not sure what. He and my sis's b/f's daughter are gonna play in the sprinkler in the park behind my house tomorrow. Then Ashley, A.J., and the b/f's daughter are gonna come on Thursday (while my sis is in class) to do the same. My sis is gonna pick up the daughter, and then my Mom and I get the kids the whole night.

On Friday, Ash and A.J. are gonna come to work with me for 2 hours, then we're gonna all go see "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." You can probably imagine just how uber-excited I am!!

And speaking of a certain movie... WENDY'S JUST GOT CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY TOYS IN!!! I was sooo freakin' excited when I saw the bag!! Here's what happened:

Marge: Amy (manager), we're outta toys. Do we have the new ones in yet?

Amy: *sigh* I'll have to go see. I think we got some in.

**A few minutes later... Amy walks up with a big stack of Kid's Meal bags**

Marge: *sneaks a peek, see's that they're C&CF bags* No freakin' way!! Those are our toys now??

    Amy: Mm-hmm.

Marge: OMG!! THIS IS SO AWESOME!!!

    Headset: BEEP!! BEEP!!

Marge: HI, CAN I TAKE YOUR ORDER??

lol! That day sucked major bootay, but everytime I handed a Kid's Meal bag out, I got happy again! lol! I'm such a loser. *grins*

My friends and I have been trying to plan out our trip to North Carolina and the beach house. So far, we're pretty sure we're leaving to go down there on the 8th, and leaving to come back up here on the 16th. Erica's driving, and we're each allowed ONE duffle bag (NO suitcases, which sucks for me). Other than that, we have nooo idea what's happening! lol!

And Steph is planning a party for this Sunday night, but SHH! Don't tell, cuz her parents are outta town! lol! I've never been to a "parents outta town" party before, but better late than never. lol! We're all college students, its about time!

I saw Craig last night, in the parking lot of a restaurant in my city, which was weird, but very awesome. He told me I should come to the play this Saturday, so I think I shall.

No clue when Mom and I are attempting to go to the Ren Faire. We still gotta fix up the house and have a garage sale by the end of the month, so... yeah.

NEhoo, I guess that's about it!

And, because I'm feeling particularly lost without "LOST," and have been craving going to an amusement park UBER badly, I shall leave you with this:

Felt Like Stealing Things From Others...
I know, I'm a klepto, but what can I say? lol! Here's what I stole:

    1. First grade teacher's name: Mrs. Beaumia (sp?) My 2nd grade teacher's name was Mrs. Potts, which was uber-cool when you're a kid! lol!

    2. Last person you kissed: Hmm... probably either my Mom or Terry.

    3. Last word you said: I think it was "thank you" to the librarian who just gave me my copies.

    4. Last song you sang: That's a difficult question!! I sing fifty million things a day!! I think it was "I'm Back Here," but I'm not sure.

    5. Last person you hugged: My Mom.

    6. Last thing you laughed at: The crazy people at work/talking with Terry on the phone.

    7. What's in your CD player: Unfortunatly, my CD player has been broken for a loooong time. But I used the DVD player today to play music, so I'll use that. It's the soundtrack to "Lost and Found" (David Spade movie).

    8. Who is your favorite star/s: David Spade, Elijah, Johnny Depp, Drew Barreymore, Kate Winslet, Adam Sandler, Billy, Dom, and a whooole bunch of others.

    9. What socks are you wearing: Plain ol' white ones.

    10. What's under your bed: Nothing. My bed has shelves underneath it, and they're filled with clothes.

    11. Current status: How so? Working. Alive. In an interesting relationship. ;)

    12. Current taste: Hmm... not sure. I just had Sprite, so that's probaby it.

    13. Current Hairstyle: Down and drying (just got outta work).

    14. Current clothes: Sadly, my Wendy's uniform AGAIN!! lol!

    15. Current Hate: My smelly shoes. They're getting to me! lol!

    17. Current desktop picture: At home, it's Invader Zim. Here, it's a blue screen.

    18. Current worry: Getting the unit finished.

    19. Current Love: Huh.

    20. Story behind your username: Hoosker Do (probably spelled differently) is a type of fire cracker. I got the name from the long list of fireworks that David lists of in "Joe Dirt": "So you don't got no Black Cats? No Roman Candles or Screamin' Mimi's? Oh come on, man, you don't have no Ladies' Fingers, Buzz Buttles, Snicker Bombs, Church Burners, Finger Blasters, Gut Busters, Zip-a-dee-doo-dahs, or Crap Flappers? You're gonna stand there, owning a firework stand, and tell me that you don't have no Whistling Bungholes? No Spleen Splitters, Whisker Biscuits, Honkey Lighters, HOOSKER DO's, Hoosker Don'ts, Cherry Bombs, Nipser-Daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistlin' Kitty Chaser?" lol! I think it's cute.

    21. Current favorite article of clothing: Not sure. Depends on the day.

    22. Favorite item: Almost everything I own I have an emotional attachment too, so I don't think I have a favorite item.

    23. Last CD that you bought: Oh geez, I have no idea. We bought some Christian CDs for camp, but the last CD I bought was probably one from the library. I have no idea. lol! I need to buy a CD, I guess.

    24. Favorite place to be: I love to be driving in the car with the radio on, or riding the bus with my CD player. Anywhere where I can sit and stare and dream while I listen to my music. Also, anywhere where my friends are... usually.

    25. Least favorite place: Work. lol! And sometimes being stuck at home as well, if I'm feeling restless.

    26. Time you wake up in the morning: Depends. Usually I'm up by 9 or 10, sometimes earlier, sometimes later.

    27. If you could play a new instrument, what would it be: One of those indian flutes. *le sigh* And drums, cello, and GUITAR!!! And piano (better).

    29. Current favorite word/saying: I've been saying "Dude" and "Dang" alot. Is that a bad thing?? lol! Oh, and lately I've been heard saying, "Dyslexics of the world untie." Thanks for that Terry! Ppl are laughing! :)

    30. Favorite book: Not sure. "The Giver" is one of my favs. But I like many books. Oh, and "Fade" I think it's called. That's a great book. It's about a boy who's given the gift of turning invisible, and it's just a really creepy/great read.

    31. Favorite Movies: Don't have a fav, so I'll name A FEW: Dickie Roberts, Eternal Sunshine, Pirates of the Caribbean, LOTR series, Tommy Boy, 50 First Dates, Disney movies, and the list goes on...

    35. Favorite day: Hmm... I like Wednesdays (LOST), Thursdays (whole "green" joke), and Fridays.

    37. What is your career going to be: Something involving film and acting, hopefully.

    38. Who is your best friend/s: Don't have a best friend within my group of friends. My Mom is really my best friend...and worst enemy.

    39. What kind of car do you have: It's not really my car, but we have a Buick Regal now. It's silver.

    40. A random lyric: "Now that had to hurt. I hope it doesn't peel, LIKE A BANAAAAANA!"

    41. Eye Color: Blue with yellow specks.

    42. Hair Color: Dark blonde/light brown with natural red and gold highlights. Hope to dye it someday, but don't know what color.

    45. Zodiac Sign: Aquarius!!

    46.Innie or Outtie: Innie.

    48. The shoes you wore today: My black smelly work shoes. *gags*

    49. Your hair: Didn't we establish this?? Down and drying... no, wait, dry. And thick. My hair is shoulder-length and thick, with long layers.

    51. Your fears: Spiders, NEEDLES, blood, death, life, the future, failure.

    52. Your most recent secret?: If it's a secret, what makes you think I'm gonna tell you? lol! Naw, it's probably that I snuck outta the house last night to meet up with my friends about our Georgia meeting. *gasp*

    54. Your thoughts first waking up: Like I remember. I'm always waiting to hear what song is playing on the radio. But this morning, it was, "OMG! There's a carpenter ant crawling on me!!"

    55. The first feature you notice in the opposite sex: I don't think there is one. Probably eyes, but I'm not sure.

    56. Your bedtime: Usually late. Like midnight or later.

    57. Your most missed companion: My cat Lucky. I miss him very much. And the "old" Scott. Very much.

    58. Your perfect pizza: Soft, cheese, good amount of sauce.

    59. Sweet and Chewy or Salty and Crunchy: Hmm... I don't know. Check back.

    60. Single or group dates: Depends. Group is more comfy for having fun. Single is better for personal conversations and stuff.

    61. Dogs or Cats: Lately, it's been cats. But I really want a little dog.

    62. Lipton Ice Tea or Nestea: I have no idea, so I'll go with Arizona Iced Tea.

    64. Cappuccino or coffee?: Neither. Bleh!

    65. Smoke: Just once. And I get urges on occasion for a cigarette. It's weird.

    66. Curse: *sigh* Yes. I'm working on it.

    67. Sing: Constantly!! You can't shut me up, I swear! :)

    68. Take a shower everyday: Um... since my hair tends to be on the greasy side, I try to shower everyday. Somedays it doesn't happen. If I'm just around the house or working at the unit or something, sometimes I just don't have time or care about the shower. But a good shower always makes me feel sooo much better!!

    69. Have a crush: Mm-hmm. I guess you could call it that.

    71. Think you've been in love: I think so.

    74. Want to get married: OMG, are you proposing?? lol! Yes, I'd love to someday.

    75. Type with your fingers in the right place: Except when I'm typing over someone's shoulders or something, then I peck, but I type very well. So yes, in the right place.

    76. Think you're attractive: Somedays. I think I'm more cute than attractive.

    77. Think you're a health freak: Absolutely not. But I am a hypocondriac (sp?).

    91. Dyed your hair: I tried to "dye" it blue, but it didn't work. Stupid cheap crap.

    99. Spent too much money on something you didnt need? *giggles* Too many times.

    100. Cried when someone died?: Eventually. It takes me a while.

Alright, now that I've done that, I can quickly to a little summary here of what happened. Last night, Erica, Steph, and I got together for a quicky meeting about the road trip. We're heading to Atlanta, Georgia, and we're gonna stay with Steph's sister. We each get to pick one place we wanna go while we're there, and we're gonna try to pack food so we don't have to worry. Um... we're looking at leaving about the 5th, and coming home about the 11th or 12th. I hope I can go, it sounds fun.

Still trying to do the unit. If it gets done, Mom and I will probably head out to Conneaut on the 4th to hang out with Terry and his Dad and whoever else will be there. I'm still trying to figure out when to go to the Ren Faire. **MESSAGE TO KARKAR: The Ren Faire you're talking about coming to is a different one then the one I'm going to. That's cool, just thought I'd let you know that we're talking about two different Faire's here. lol!** Cuz I promised Patrick I'd come see him, and I've never been to one.

And I just found out when Lakeland's production of "Peter Pan" is on, so I HAVE to go see that!! Maybe I'll finally get my cooler back! lol! Speaking of Craig, he was on TV the other day!! Mom was trying to wake me up, and she yelled, "OMG, Craig's on TV!!" He was on a commercial for a local animal doctor. He was holding his little pug Caesar, and it said "Craig Tucker" on the bottom. I missed it, unfortunatly. *sigh* Still waiting to catch it. But that was exciting!! lol!

And yeah, that's about it. Terry FINALLY sent me the poem he wrote. 'Bout time! lol! J/K Terry! I luv it, btw. It really did make my heart melt. *sniffle*

Well, guess I'd better wrap this up. My bladder is screaming "EMPTY ME!!" Thought you'd wanna know that. lol!

LOL! That song's in my head. First,I wanna put this up:

The Stupid Quiz said I am "Fairly Smart!" How stupid are you? Click here to find out!

Okay, now on to camp. Camp was fun, although I didn't feel all that prepared this year. We ended up leaving for camp at about 4:30am Sunday, and got to camp around 6am!! Needless to say, we were exhausted! But when my Mom and I opened the door to go into the room we normally have, there was a guy in their sleeping! lol! So we went to the room next door and slept for a while. Mom got up to have breakfast, but I was out until she shook me awake to help unpack the car. Then we took a shower, met with Rev. Mark Frey (the director), made signs for the doors, and went down to registration.

Nothing too important to write about camp. I didn't do as much this year as I normally do. In fact, one day, I actually ended up sleeping for 3 hours (rest hour is supposed to be only 1 hour). So next year, I hope to be more involved. But I led the songs, as usual, and the kids loved them, as usual. Sean (the guy who I learned alot of the fun songs from) wasn't there this year, so that was kinda sad.

This year, Mark had me teaching the kids drama, but I wasn't too prepared, so it didn't go all that well. But we got a few of the kids to be in this skit. It started out REALLY bad, but we worked out the kinks quickly. Then, right before the talent show, we switched some parts around, and THEN I got about 4 or 5 kids running up to me asking to be in the skit!! So I just said, "Uh, you go with the bad guys, you go with the good guys, you two stand here by the jail." It all worked out in the end, and the skit was really cute and everyone laughed. *wipes brow* I sang for the talent show too, but since I've been sick, it wasn't as good as it could have been.

Tuesday afternoon, there was this awful thunderstorm. I mean, I was scared! And it happened right when the kids were supposed to go swimming. Luckily, they'd swam earlier that day, so they weren't too disappointed. But the rain was coming down so hard, there were little rivers running down the road! And of course I ventured out for the other building with my umbrella, and there's deafening thunder and scary lightning!! EEP! But it all worked out. We had our talent show in the dining hall, and it was dry enough to have our final camp fire outside...with s'mores!! MMM!!

The grandparents seemed to like me, and the kids were all cute! And when I was cooking marshmellows, one grandparent said, "Not only can she sing, she can cook too!" And then we were discussing boyfriends, and this woman looked at me and said, "There's no way you wouldn't have a boyfriend. You're too sweet." lol! Whatever!

So it all worked out. We had a waterballoon toss again (Mom got me this time...in the face!). The staff was nice. Not as peppy as in past years (different people), but the coordinator Connie was super-nice!! And our room looked AWESOME!! Since we're always on the side without a window (it's uber-dark), I brought Xmas lights again this year. I had white lights on my side, purple lights on Mom's side, and colored lights on the far wall. And then there were the other decorations: my side: "Eternal Sunshine" poster, pics of my family, friends, and Terry; back wall: pics of Elijah Wood, Dom, David Spade, a pic Terry drew for me (Gir Watch), a sign that read "Welcome to the Shire: Hobbit Parking Only," and a "Pirate's of the Caribbean" poster; Mom's side: "Secret Window" poster (which I could look at all night long... *drools*); far wall: "Dickie Roberts" poster; door: pics of me and Mom, pic of the praying angel that Terry drew, signs saying who's roome it was, a prayer, Invader Zim, a sign that read "Praise God For..." with pics of my family, friends, Terry, Lij, David, Dom, and my cat underneath, and I think that's about it.

Oh yeah, and I brought my Frodo standee and stuck it by my bed, which looked sooo cool! But as the room got messy, Frodo started holding stuff for me. First it was my One Ring, then my name tag, then a few necklaces I'd brought. Eventually, I gave him a "pimp" hat and put a bra in his outstretched hand. I got a picture, it was too, too great.

And speaking of that, my Mom was too funny! We had nights that we were so dilerious, we laughed at everything! Like "Frito Lay" and "Get that cow bag outta the picture!" ROFL! If you want details, ask. and then one night, Terry called while I was in the bathroom, and the walls are paper thin in the place, and it's like midnight, and everyone's been in bed for an hour or two, and the phone was on it's loudest setting, and my Mom jumped about 5 feet in the air! She came into the bathroom and said, "You're phone just went *sings "Don't Phunk With My Heart" by the Black-Eyed Peas* and scared me half to death." And I said, "*giggles* Sorry. *thinks* OMG! Did you answer it?? I bet it woke everyone up!!" lol! So I went outside and called him back, and almost got attacked by a bat. *shakes head* Ain't camp great?

FOOD WAS AWESOME!! As usual! I LUV camp food!! MMM!! But now I'm back to reality, aka Wendy's and work! *sigh* We gotta get the storage unit cleaned out by the 5th, or else we loose the stuff, and both my Mom and I have to work this week, and we're trying to go somewhere or do something for the 4th of July, but if we don't get this all done before then, we probably won't be able to do anything, which totally bites! Grr! So yeah, I'm gonna be uber-busy cleaning and slaving away at the grease bin!

Speaking of which, Wendy's has gotten rid of their Biggie Fries with the meal. Now you get a medium fries with your combo, unless you Biggie Size it, then you get your choice of Biggie or Great Biggie for additional prices. *sigh* And I was on fries today and had no idea about this. Luckily someone eventually told me. *grumbles* Oh well. That's the food industry.

Well, my Mom just threatened to make me walk home in the rain if I wasn't out the door in two seconds, so I'd better wrap it up. I shall leave you with this picture, since I'm feeling all greasy from work in my work uniform:

Ah, Zim, looking so... greasy. lol! I know how ya feel buddy!!

Diapers and Windshield Wipers!! (Inside joke)

    Hello Mudda, Hello Fadda...
Well everyone, I'm off to camp tomorrow. Yes, time to be a role-model to a select few of bright, hopeful children. Children are the future, you know. NEway, I probably won't be on for a while, unless I steal a few minutes in the councelor's cabin to check my email... and stuff.

So yeah, getting ready for camp has pretty much taken over my life at the moment. Can't believe we're leaving tomorrow and I'm not even close to being packed!! Eh, c'est la vie. My life, any way.

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful few days without hearing from/about me! Talk to you when I get back!!

    Crawling with Infection
lol! That's how someone describe me the other day. Isn't that lovely? Allow me to explain: I'm sick. Yup, sick, sick, sick, that's me! Let's see, it all started... *cue flash-back*

It was Monday, and Terry, who thought he was going to Kentucky soon, asked if I wanted to meet him up at college, then hang out at his house the rest of the day. So I scheduled off of work and did just that. We met up at Lakeland, then went upstairs and talked with "those ppl" for a few minutes. ;) We went to BK (Terry bought me a Grievous toy... it does the monkey with light sabers!!) and we were off to that city I can't spell (I believe it's Conneaut).

We hung out, we straightened out the tomato plants (motivational speeches work everytime!), we hosed each other down with the well water (that was fun), we got dried off and changed (*giggles* Sometimes I amuse myself too, too much... *ahem*), we watched some Zim and stuff, we made dinner (MMM!! pasghetti with meatballs!), we ate, Mom called, Terry sang to me (aww!), and I went home. A fun day, no?

NEway, two days later, Terry calls and informs me that he's sick. And I joke and say, "Well, now I'm gonna get sick! Thanks a lot." But I told him to get better. Then I re-invited him to the Captains Game (the Captains are players who are waiting to get into the Cleveland Indians baseball team). I'd originally gotten the ticket for him, but he thought he was going to Kentucky, but since he wasn't going, I re-invited him, and he said he'd like to go.

Thursday came, and I woke up with a sore throat. My sis is taking a summer class on Thursday's, and said she'd like it if we could watch the kids from 8:30am to 12:30pm every Thursday, and I was so freakin' excited!! So I got up to get a shower, and my sis called and said, "It's raining, so I'm gonna drop them off at my girlfriend's house instead." I was so upset!! I really wanted to see the kids!! So I went back to bed. Everything was going fine until it was almost time for the game; that's when I got really dizzy.

Needless to say, by the time Terry got to my house, I was sick. Then it rained on and off when we got to the game. I had a poncho, so I would have been fine, except I put my only jacket down on the seat so I wouldn't sit in a puddle, and therefore I was really cold. Terry, Mom, and I left before the 8th inning was over, and I began to get progressivley sicker. We went to Eat 'n Park, and I was shivering and feeling terrible, I couldn't even finish my meal.

Turns out, I had a 100.6 temp. Not too bad, but still, I was sick. I ached all over, it just wasn't cool. Terry and his dad found out I wasn't feeling better, and they made me this delicious and healthy chicken soup and Terry brought it out for me. That was really nice, and the soup was really good. The next day, I didn't have a temp. anymore, but I still felt sick, so I didn't go to work. I stayed home and tried to have a LOTR marathon, watching all three in succession, but it didn't happen... I missed alot of the first one cuz I had a phone call, and I stopped half-way throught the third, cuz Mom had to go to work and wanted to watch the end with me. *sigh*

NEway, at 3:00 Sunday morning, my ear started to hurt. By 3:30, I was in so much pain, I couldn't stand it. I called Mom at work and was crying on the phone to her, but she told me to sit up and maybe I'd feel better. So I tried it, but the pain got worse. There were fireworks going off inside my right ear, and the whole right side of my face hurt SO BAD!! I felt like I was going to vomit. I counted down the minutes til it was 5:00 and called again, begging her to take me to the hospital, but Mom said she couldn't leave work, I'd have to wait til 7 and she'd get home ASAP.

I couldn't sleep, the pain was so bad, so I just laid there, waiting for 7am to arrive. It was horrible!! I was in sooo much pain, I couldn't stand it. Seven o'clock came, and I hadn't heard the fireworks in my ear for a while, then suddenly there was this loud noise in my ear. After that, the pain decreased. Mom finally came home and we went to the clinic and waited for them to open.

The doctor looked in my ear and said it was definitely an infection. By then, I'd started oozing, and she said I might have punctured my eardrum, but there was too much wax to tell. "If I clean out the wax now, though, you'll kill me," she said. So I was given a prescription and told to come back to get the wax cleaned out and the eardrum checked. And then I have an appointment with an ear doctor on July 19th which will probably take about 2 hours, cuz they have to give me a half-hour hearing test. Oye vey! My life is just dandy.

So yeah, I'm falling apart over here. *sigh* Oh well... I'll survive. Other than that, things have been going pretty well, I guess. Oh, guess what everyone! "LOST: Season One" is coming to DVD on September 6th!!!! WHOO-HOO!!!!!!! Sorry, I'm excited, even though there's no way I'll be able to affored it.

NEhoo, getting ready for camp is the highlight of this week. We have to wash clothes and pack and all that stuff, cuz Mom and I are counselors at Grandparent/Grandchild Camp at Templed Hills in Mansfield, Ohio, which should be fun. This year's theme is "Pray!" but I don't feel quite as prepared this year. But I always seem to make it through, so it should be all good.

And now for Marge's random picture of the day. I've decided to try to end with quotes or pictures, so today is a pic.

Sometimes you just have to come out and admit it, ya know?? *wink*

    When the Lights Go Out
I swear, I have never had so many power outages in such a small amount of time. Okay, Thursday night, Terry called me, and he was watching "Boogeyman." He began narrating it for me, which he did very well; I felt as if I was actually watching the movie. Nehoo, you know me and my active imagination, so picture me sitting in a darkened room, off away from everyone else in a quiet house, listening to someone tell me about the scary movie they're watching, and you can imagine I was a little paranoid... but only a little. It's a normal thing for me.

NEway, when I finally dragged myself into bed, it was late, and I was tired, but my mind was still over-acting, so I kept the light on. I also had the fan on, but instead of helping, it made me think I was hearing things. So I turned the TV on to drown out whatever I thought I was hearing. It was successful, and I fell asleep. But then, the storm hit. It was a very loud storm with thunder and lightning, and I woke up. I turned the TV off and tried to get back to sleep, which eventually I did. I woke up to a flashing alarm, and since I hadn't slept very well, I dilly-dallied before I got up and got ready for work.

So I went into work on Friday, and everything was normal: I was on fries (*gags*), everyone was busy, and then... BOOM! Half the power goes out. Then BOOM! The rest of the power goes off. So we immediatly get to work: writing signs, turning away customers who want anything other than salads or cold drinks, and throwing away fries, meat, nuggets, and strips (I stole a nugget or two before they found their way into the garbage...why not?) And since we weren't going to be serving anyone anytime soon (they'd locked the doors and were only giving ppl cold stuff through drive-thru), the managers sent some ppl home, and the rest of us were made to clean the store.

I swept the floors, then headed out to the dining room (as instructed) to clean out there. Our district manager came in, and she discussed the fact that, since all of the power was out at every other restaurant near the OTHER Wendy's EXCEPT for that Wendy's, the nearest Wendy's to us would be super-packed. So Rae (our manager) sent Danielle (assis. manager) and Tisha (crew member who volunteered) to that store. But then, in a cruel twist of fate, she volunteered me as well. I said I didn't want to go, but Rae said, "Oh come on. I'll make sure you get paid, it'll only be for a little while. You can help them make salads or something." So I reluctantly went.

When we got there, the place was packed, and we were quickly sent to different areas of the store; I was sent to sandwichs with this other girl who works there. The store was small and cramped (especially with us there), and the worst part was: they didn't have air conditioning in the work area. At all. None. Nunca. Zip. Zilch. Zero. It was soooo hot in there, I'm surprised nobody dropped down dead. And it was so busy, you barely had time to even TRY to get something to drink. It was so inhumane, it was HORRIBLE!!! I swear, I will NEVER say anything about the Wendy's I work at, EVER AGAIN!! I feel INCREDIBLY bad for the employees who have to work there.

NEway, I was stuck there for about 3 hours, which sucked. When I was done, I was so sweaty and sick, I couldn't eat anything. I just downed a drink in about a second. It was horrifying.

Meanwhile, my one friend (who shall remain nameless) had HER store's power go out, and they spent the whole time cleaning and (*gasp*) drinking. That's right, the place got out Coca Cola, beer, and Zimas, and passed them out to all the employees. So when my friend called me about doing something later that night, she was kinda buzzed (but in a "mellow" way, as she puts it). I was like, "So you got to drink, while I was sent to Hell. How lovely." lol!

Last night was color-pin bowling again. I went... again. It was alot more fun this time. I had a chance at winning $25, but I suck at bowling. Er, I mean, I really didn't need that money, so I gutter-balled it. Yeah, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. :P But it's all good: I won a dollar by the end of the night! lol!

Then we all went to Eat 'n Park, where Erica treated Steph and I to whatever we wanted. I got a Grilled Sticky and onion rings. We saw Toochie (friend from my graduating class). Whenever we go out to eat, we try to find a creative way to leave the tip, so this time, Steph made a treasure map to the money, which was hidden under something on the table. Then she took Splenda packets and made a little trail to the money (just like on the map). The trail went through the "Forest of Cups," passed the salt, and then the tip was just a "fork, knife, and a spoon" away. It was rather cute... although the waitress was probably upset about having to pick up all those Splenda packets.

I took Steph's keys out of her purse, and Erica and I faked heading to the bathroom, snuck out, and stole her car. We parked it a little ways away, took the stuff off her windshield, and watched her come out, look, and sit and wait. We called, and she faked that she was talking to the police. When we called back a few seconds later, she said she knew we were there the whole time, but Erica and I aren't sure if that's the truth or not. lol! It was fun though!

Well, I think that's about it... for now. Just waiting for the next storm/power outtage. Well, the libray's about to kick me out. See ya!

    3:47 pm
    Duuuuuuuuude!
I haven't written in like, *checks watch* *checks calander* forever! I wonder if there's a quick way to do this. Maybe I'll just quickly ramble off what's happened in no specific order.

1.) Went to Terry's for Memorial Day. Looong ride out there, but I like car rides (yeah, you're right, I'm just happy to get out of the house, but a car ride is an added bonus). Um... I already wrote about the day at home, so I don't need to detail anything here. We arrived, "we" cooked, we ate (mmm!), we chickened, we waterfalled, we covered-bridged, we 4-wheeled, we sunsetted, we Invader Zim-ed, we etc. I got to meet Terry's dad (again), Linda (she's very funny and uber-nice), and Linda's nephew (NOah) and son, who brought his girlfriend and her daughter (Melanie-->uber-sweet girl). And can I just say, once the sun goes down out there, the sky is GORGEOUS!!! I could see practically every star in the galaxy out there!!! *le sigh*

NEhoo, Mom didn't want me to spend the night (for various reasons, not the least of which being becuz she's a MOM), so I got to my sister's house (sis lives closer to Terry than I do) at about 1:30-ish and passed out on her couch. In the morning, I got to see Ashley and A.J. before they went to school, and then my sister and I watched "Phantom of the Opera," which was an awesome movie! My Mom arrived, and we were off on our way home. So that was my Memorial Day.

2.) LOST SEASON FINALE!!!!! Dude, that was just, like, amazing! I nearly fell off of the bed when they came for "the boy." I was like, "NO WAY!!" Amazing! I heart "Lost" to infinity and beyond! And I heart Jimmy Kimmel for holding a "Lost" cast party in his green room. He'd had "Lost" stars on all that week: Matthew Fox on Monday; Terry O'Quinn on Tuesday, and then Wednesday he had most of the cast backstage (*drools over Dominic Monaghan* that man makes pretending to be drunk and beating up a "polar bear" uber-sexy) and Jorge Garcia, Harold Perrineau, and J.J. Abrams on as guests. I'm SOOO glad Jimmy replayed his visiting the island, I never got to see that, and I was ROFL!! Especially when he and Dom sang: "Loooost on an island, faaar from hooooome." LMAO!! Classic!

3.) Umm... oh, finals at college. Eh, not too much to say about that. I had finals. I took them. Apparantly, I suck. I did well on my American Sign Language final, but that didn't seem to help me in the over-all class. Neither did any of my other finals. Craig's final was the best. I came in, I gave him my picture and my binder, he looked through and complimented on everything, he asked if he could keep it (I said "no," but when I DID decide to let him keep it, he didn't want it anymore), and then I gave him his presents: Diet Poop Cola and 10 taquitos (it's an "Invader Zim" thing). He loved the cola (said he'd keep the box), but was in awe of the taquitos (he didn't know they existed). He even thanked me, which is a first. It's so fun to hear a teacher shout "Thanks for the taquitos and the Poop Cola!" in the middle of a college campus. :P

But now the man's stolen my cooler, and he hasn't given it back to me, so I was "stalking" him with text messages that mentioned my cooler, and he said, "I'll have to get it back to you." Something tells me I need to take a trip out to a certain Applebee's in a certain city called Solon to pester a certain "newbie" that's working there. *cackles*

4.) Got to see "Star Wars: Episode 3" yesterday with Terry, which was kinda weird, seeing as I haven't seen very much of the first two, and that I haven't seen the original movies in forever. But the movie was entertaining, I enjoyed it. Let's see, what else did Terry and I do yesterday? We visited his friend Brian, I got to see his old house (VERY nice house), we got a donut and milk/root beer, we went to the movie, we tried to meet up with his friend Steve (wasn't home, but Steve's mom gave me an electric pencil sharpner and some votive candles), we ate at Long John Silver's (and got pirate hats!!), and then we hung out at the park for a while, which was fun! :)

5.) This past Friday, my friends and I went bowling. It started out okay, but then Erica and I started getting in one of our "moods." Mine was mostly becuz there were A LOT of people there, and I get very upset around people, so yeah. It was color-pin bowling (for money), so we got three games. I sucked the first game (I got 69), sucked even worst the second game (I got like 60), then during the third game, I started getting a strike every-other time! lol! It was great!! But I still lost! I was winning, and then my friend Jen beat me! I was like, "Thanks a lot Jen, couldn't I win just once??" lol!

Then Erica and I went to Eat 'n Park, and Erica bought me a milkshake and we split a grilled sticky (orgasmically good!!). Erica is SUCH a great friend, I heart her to pieces!! And she taught me some Croatian, which was fun. She let me borrow "The Notebook" (total chick flick love story), and I wished her luck on her trip to New York.

6.) And speaking of my friends, a few nights back, I "snuck outta the house" and we all went driving, which is ALWAYS fun! Stephanie drove insanely up my church's driveway, something we haven't done in a loooong time. Our second time up (this time, backwards), I noticed a tent outside of one of the houses behind the church, and I jokingly said, "Wouldn't it suck if there were people in that tent?" Turns out, there WERE people in that tent, and all three of them ran out to watch us, so we high-tailed it outta there before anyone called the cops! lol!

After that, we ended up at this strip mall, and we found people practicing for their driving test, and everyone in the car decided they wanted to see if they could still maneuver. But the only practice-area left had no cones, so Erica, Jen, and I jumped out to be the cones. Jen stood at the top, and Erica and I were the sides, which means we had to run to the next spots as soon as Steph passed us. It was great! Then Erica went, then Jen went, and then they asked if I wanted to try. I sucked. lol! I mean, I literally ran over my friends, that's how bad I sucked! But I don't drive yet and it was my first time, so nyah! lol!

Jen switched on Gwen Stefani's new CD (AWESOME!), so we all did our maneuverability to "Hollarback Girl". I especially love the song that goes "Back it up! Back it up! You got it! You got it!" The best part was, in that song, she says something about doing a U-turn, and Jen did one like right after she said that! It was so ironic.

Jen needed gas, so she pumped and Erica and I ran inside for food. I bought Combos, and Erica bought Cheetos and a 2-Liter bottle of Coke, which we all shared. Oh, and Erica and I got hit on by some drunk guy while we were in there. I know, I know, I just have the power to turn all the gas station dudes on. Envy me if you will. *wink* We went back to Erica's for a brief time, where we "slow danced" to 'You're the Inspiration,' tried to agree on where to go for our roadtrip (Steph's not allowed to go to LA, plus she doesn't see what there is to do in LA *gasp!*), and I checked my email. Erica gave me my present: a burned CD called "Friendship Mix" with a whole bunch of friendship songs and pictures of her and me on the front. *sniffle* Is that not the sweetest present ever?? Then we all went home. It was a pretty fun night, but shh! I snuck out, so don't tell anyone, 'kay? lol!

And yeah, I think that's about as updated as I can get right now. If I think of anything later, I'll add it in. Just didn't want everyone to think I fell off the face of the planet, cuz I didn't. Falling off the face of the planet and being abducted off the face of the planet are two TOTALLY different things, okay? *wink*

    ~Marge~

PS- Wendy's update: Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers have gone up from 99 cents to $1.29 (cost of bacon). We've added a new sandwich, the Jr. Smokey Cheddarburger, which is okay (I LUV the sauce they put on it... that's what they call "Marge's sauce" where I work). We also have a large cup of strawberry yogurt with granola topping, and new Fix 'n Mix Frosty's, with 3 choices of toppings: M&Ms, Butterfinger, or Oreo. Thought I'd let y'all know.

Oh yeah, and as usual, fingers are extra. ;)

    Finals!!!
It's finals week, as in, last week of college!! WOW! I can't believe it's almost over. But I have soooooo much to do before 1 pm tomorrow, so it hardly seems over to me at all! lol!

So far, I've taken Part 1 of my American Sign Language final. I crammed all day/night/day for that final, and it seems I was one of the only ones to do so. We had to pick five numbers from the teacher, then find those numbers on the paper and sign the sentences. I did very well, but some of the others were confused on a word here or there. I said, "Too bad we don't have phone a friend or ask the audience," and a few people laughed. But eventually, the teacher opened the floor for us to help a student when they were up there.

I also found out that he wasn't there last Thursday (I'd missed the class, so I didn't know), and because of this, he's not gonna make us take a test on culture notes (whew!), but instead sign a few sentences and have us write them down. No biggie, I can handle that.

Right after that (on Monday), I had my Popular Music final, which I probably didn't do that great on. *sigh* My Mom's disappointed that I'm doing such a bad job in a music class, knowing how much my family and I love music. It's just the class and the fact that I'm lazy and can't remember names and stuff. But no excuses; I need to buckle down more. So yeah... I probably got a high C, low B in that class. Most likely a C.

Today I had my Earth Science final. I feel okay about that one. I never know how to feel about those tests, cuz whenever I feel I did well, I always do poorly. lol! But I was getting a high B, so I only took this final to try and bring my grade up to an A. *crosses fingers*

And in about an hour and a half, I have another practice for the Choir and Orchestra concert this Sunday. I don't mind helping; in fact, I'm glad Chris (the conductor of the choir) asked me, but I just wish we didn't have rehearsal tonight! I have soooo much to do for tomorrow!! I have to study for the rest of my American Sign Language final (which shouldn't take too long). Then, I have to finish coloring in my final picture for Craig's class, then watercolor the background, add texture to the trees, make the front look like a storybook (if I have time), print out all of the papers for the binder, get to the library and hole-punch them, and still try to have time to get Craig's end of the semester present together, which I hope he likes, cuz I put alot of thought and effort into it.

*sigh* So, in other words, I'm uber-rushed tonight! Probably won't get alot of sleep. At least I have from about 10:20 to 1:00 tomorrow to finish up anything else I need to get done. *tries to breathe normally* Must... calm... down. lol! I'll be fine, just gotta learn the art of multi-tasking and staying awake.

So... I shall let y'all know how tomorrow goes. Oh, and one last thing: "Racing Stripes" came out yesterday, and Terry used a free rental coupon from Blockbuster to rent it for me, without my saying ANYTHING about it, cuz he knows I love Spade and all. Wasn't that just like, the nicest thing ever?? I thought it was rather sweet. And the movie was TOO adorable. Aww!! So Terry, if you're reading this (which I'm sure you are, you little stalker *wink*), THANK YOU!!

    I've Got 10 Minutes...
...til I gotta be in my voice lesson. I ran up three flights of stairs to make it to Science class on time (so I wouldn't get yelled at again), only to find the room dark. Guess we're only having class on Wednesday, to take the final. Eh, more time on the computer! Works for me! lol!

Went out with my friends on Friday night: Stephanie, Erica, and me. First, we went minature golfing. I won, then Erica, then Stephanie. YAY!! *does a little dance* Then we decided to go play pool, so we traveled over to Wickliffe Lanes. I started out okay, then began to suck, so Stephanie gave me a little pointer or two (that's what these kids learn in college). My fav parts were:

    a) When Stephanie tried to make me hit my own ball in.

    b) When I aimed for a ball, but the white ball (I'm soooo pool illiterate) jumped up in the air and went around the ball I was aiming at.

    c) When Erica went to put the blue chalk on Steph's face, but ended up poking her in the eye. Don't worry, she was fine, but we had a few laughs about it the rest of the night. Poor Steph!!

    d) When Erica hit the white ball so hard, it actually went off the table! ROFL!!

    e) When I started sucking, and couldn't even hit the white ball! lol!

NEway, as it turned out, I ended up winning pool too!! *does a little dance on top of a table* I know, right?? Me?? Win at pool?? LOL! Be proud of me Tog, be proud. But my friends had advice when I told them you and I were supposed to play; I said, "She's really good at pool," and they said, "Then don't play her." lol!

And on Thursday, Terry came to my last class and met Craig. *giggles* And they just started chatting right away about Dragonball and drawing and stuff, and Craig even asked for Terry's DeviantArt site. *giggles even harder* I'm sorry, I just find it hilarious!! *ahem* NEway...

Then Terry and I went to the mall for a bit, which was fun. I've had this little joke that I'm pregnant, so I was fooling around with that at the mall, and we were both afraid that someone was actually going to believe me! lol! Then Terry drove me home, and we joked about kidnapping some kids crossing the street and letting them out two houses down. We were gonna impersonate the Ice Cream Man. lol!

In other news, I went to the doctor's on Friday, cuz I have this thing on my foot, and I was freaking out that it might be diabetes (cuz I'm borderline, and I've been kinda sick lately). Turns out I'm just a hypocondriac with a planter's wart. Lovely, eh? BUT...I can buy duct tape to put on the wart, so I think I'm going to get multi-colors to accesories. *wink*

And on Saturday, I got to put together (and probably pleasure) a Frostie Machine. Let's just say putting the Frostie machine together involves a bunch of shafts and a tube of lubricant. I am DEAD serious on this. lol! At one point, I felt like turning to my manager (who was watching) and saying, "Do you mind? Can I get a little privacy here??" ROFL!! I'm sorry, I have a sick mind, but it was tooooo great! *washs mind out*

Mother's Day was blah. Mom was tired, I didn't have money to buy her anything, and we had no money to eat. We went to Wendy's to give them some business and found out they were out of pretty much everything. So we ended up going to church, running some errands, eating Taco Bell in the Burger King parking lot (which Mom said she loved doing, cuz that's our thing), and then we rented "Lemoney Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events," which was pretty interesting. And that was that.

As for today, I did yardwork, picked up my crappy paycheck ($68, can you believe it??), and am now late for my voice lesson. Then I get to go to practice for the chorus and orchestra concert, where I'm helping out the director by playing some percussion parts. I shall get these percussion parts for the first time tonight, and the concert's on Sunday! lol! No pressure, right?? But at least a certain lighting and sound person shall be there tonight! lol! So I shall be somewhat entertained.

    ~Marge~

PS- Went in an art store today to look for paints for Craig's final project. I tell you, I need to take an art class, cuz it was sooo over-whelming, I felt like crying!! lol! It was a WHOLE other world to me!! Needless to say, I still need to figure out what to get.

But at least I got to see this HUGE painting of Cpt. Jack Sparrow!!! *drools* I need to take a pic of this thing, cuz it's AWESOME!!

    My Personality Defect
    *ahem*

    Emo Kid
You are 28% Rational, 28% Extroverted, 28% Brutal, and 42% Arrogant.
You are the Emo Kid, best described as a quiet pussy! You tend to be an intuitive rather than a logical thinker, meaning you rely more on your feelings than your thoughts. Not only that, but you are introverted, gentle, and rather humble. You embody all the traits of the perfect emo kid. You are a push-over, emotional, gentle to the extent of absurdity, and so humble that it even makes Jesus puke. If you write poetry, you no doubt write angsty, syrupy lines about depression, sadness, and other such redundant states of emo-being. Your personality is defective because you are too gentle, rather underconfident in yourself, decidely lacking in any rational thought, and also a bit too inhibited.

I probably made you cry, didn't I? Fucking Emo Kid.

    To put it less negatively:

    1. You are more INTUITIVE than rational.

    2. You are more INTROVERTED than extroverted.

    3. You are more GENTLE than brutal.

    4. You are more HUMBLE than arrogant.

    Compatibility:

Your exact opposite is the Smartass.

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Hippie, the Televangelist, and the Starving Artist.

    *

    *

If you scored near fifty percent for a certain trait (42%-58%), you could very well go either way. For example, someone with 42% Extroversion is slightly leaning towards being an introvert, but is close enough to being an extrovert to be classified that way as well. Below is a list of the other personality types so that you can determine which other possible categories you may fill if you scored near fifty percent for certain traits.

    The other personality types:

The Emo Kid: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Humble.

The Starving Artist: Intuitive, Introverted, Gentle, Arrogant.

The Bitch-Slap: Intuitive, Introverted, Brutal, Humble.

ROFL!! It's soooo true! Being a pushover, the "quiet pussy" part, the part about the poetry, everything! LOL! Wow, soooo not insulted.

    Yay (sorta)
Well, I emailed Erica last night, and she replied, and I just got to read it today. She said that she's been under alot of stress lately (finals and stuff) and the past weekend was a bad one, but she forgave me. I'm glad. But she's not going out with us on "girl's night" this Friday (tomorrow), for reasons unknown to me. So I'll miss her, and I hope she does well on her tests and that life gets better real soon.

It's Thursday. I tried to "dye" my hair blue (it was the comb-in stuff), but 1.) it makes my hair VERY difficult to brush, 2.) it took FOREVER to dry, 3.) there's currently more blue on my hair brush/hands then in my hair, 4.) my hair only looks blue in the sun (it actually looks more dark and grey-ish).

*sigh* I had such plans on how it would look. Guess I get the better stuff from Hot Topic. I'm wearing my black "witchy" flowy skirt, an orange top (HAD to wear orange, right Tog?), and my orange shoes (I wasn't sure if they'd look right, especially after my Mom took one look at them and started laughing...but then she said I look fine....should I believe her? *is feart*)

I missed my first class, cuz it took me forever to get ready today, and then I was late to my second class, so it's not goin' good. Basically, the only class I'm gonna make it to on time is Craig's, and I still need to work on the project!! I have til one o'clock to make it look like I've been working on it all week! LOL! Dang my fear of commitment and laziness and procrastination!!

In other news... HAPPY NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER!! And... HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!! It's also Holocaust Rememberance Day, so Mom said I should wear a cross, a Star of David, and a sombrero (to cover up the hair) today. Then she laughed some more. *sigh* Moms. Ya gotta luv 'em. lol!

Ooh, I don't work tomorrow, for some odd reason. They only scheduled me for Saturday from 9am-2pm. Weird, huh? So I'm a free woman on Friday!! Wait, scratch that, I'm Mom's work-slave on Friday, then I'm a "Girl on the Town" with my friend Stephanie (and whoever else decides to come) that night.

As for the rest of today, my plans are to go to Craig's class, hang out with Terry for an hour or two, help my Mom at the storage unit, and then hopefully make it to church choir practice. Happy happy joy joy! lol! Well, that's about it for me!! I'll see y'all later!!

Current Mood: I feel.. artistic & odd! lol!
